His answer is yes.

Luke Fletcher has made it his mission in life to protect. When he meets Hannah Walker, she makes it clear that his services aren’t needed and neither is he, but there’s something in her eyes that tells another story. Once he begins investigating the woman with many names, he realizes one thing is clear. Whoever, she’s running from won’t stop until she’s dead.

My Review of Hidden Sins
With every new series, Karice Bolton manages to come up with a fresh story and exciting storyline. The Luke Fletcher series is no exception, and Hidden Sins starts it off with intrigue and a lot of heart pounding suspense. While this story does have a lot of action, it is also balanced with a lot of sweet romance. Lately for me suspenseful romances tend to concentrate more on the suspense than the romance, and sometimes the romance feels more of like two people acting on an adrenaline rush. With Hidden Sins, the balance is just right, because at times I forgot I was even reading a book where bad guys were just around the corner.

At the very beginning, Hannah is on the run, but she is also very naïve. Right away, I was worried for her because she did not really have the slightest clue how to properly disappear without a trace. This of course leads to confrontations and a lot of dangerous situations. Even though Hannah is trying to run for her life, she is also just naturally determined enough to want to make it on her own. This quality is probably why I rooted for her in the beginning, but it was her selflessness and wanting to help others that kept me turning the page.

Obviously, this is the Luke Fletcher series, so it is told in slightly alternating point of views between Hannah and Luke. Luke is the knight in shining armor who steps into help the beautiful damsel in distress. While this could have been a tired old cliché trust me it is not with Hidden Sins. Luke has his own past that he is trying to run from and protect his sister from, and I have a feeling that may come up again in Buried Sins.

Karice Bolton has started yet another series that I have to continue reading. I cannot wait to see more of Hannah and Luke in Buried Sins, and I really want some of those unanswered questions about Luke’s past to come to light. This book is a perfect read for any New Adult fan who likes a little danger and suspense in their love story.

Sounds like a great start to a series! I also find that romance and suspense is not always well balanced so I'm glad to hear it's not the case with this one! And alternate POV is often my fav narration. You get to see both sides of the coin! Great review! :)
